Brian Bwesigye


Brian Bwesigye was born in Kigezi, south-western Uganda. He studied Law at Makerere University and Human Rights at Central European University- Budapest. He is co-founder of the Centre for African Cultural Excellence (CACE) and teaches at Makerere University at St. Augustine International University. Bwesigye’s non-fiction and literary work has appeared in literary and academic journals, websites, magazines, national newspapers and in other places, including the Uganda Modern Literary Digest, New Black Magazine, Saraba and Readers Cafe Africa among others. His book, Fables out of Nyanja, a collection of short fictional rhythmic narratives of childhood is published by Kushinda (2012).
