Janet White was born in the UK and graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University with a degree in Natural Sciences. She began her career as a laboratory scientist but soon moved into more strategic roles and has traveled widely as a consultant and businesswoman, and now resides in the USA.

Janet White draws on her many interests in her writing; she is an advocate for equity of women in science, enjoys reading mysteries and biographies, and lists cello playing and cooking among her pastimes. She currently lives in San Diego, California with her husband Jonathan and their two dogs.

Abhinav has been a technology enthusiast, and has worked with global technology companies like Ingersoll Rand as the Leader of Product Strategy. He has multiple patents to his name, and was responsible for the launch of many innovative products at these companies. With InnovAccer he is building a company to develop next generation products around what he believes is the most valuable commodity – “data”. Dr. Aditi Mukherji

Senior researcher at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), New Delhi

Aditi has a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Cambridge. She specializes in institutions and policies of water resources management and works on groundwater management, energy-irrigation nexus and management of public irrigation systems in South and Central Asia and in the Nile Basin.

She has edited two books and has published over 40 research papers in journals and edited books. She was the Associate editor of Hydrogeology Journal from 2005 till 2010 and regularly peer reviews articles for a number of other journals including World Development, Economic and Political Weekly, Agricultural Water Management, Irrigation Science, Journal of Environmental Management, American Journal of Water Resources, Energy Policy, Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers, Ecological Economics etc.

Aditi is currently an executive committee member of the Permanent Consultative Committee on Groundwater set up by the GEF and FAO. In 2012, she received the inaugural Norman Borlaug award for Field Research and Application given by the World Food Prize Foundation. Her work has been widely covered by the media and she has been interviewed by all leading newspapers in India as well as by the BBC, Le Monde and National Geographic on issues related to irrigation and water resources management.

Sweekar Sunil Katti

Born into a musical family,Sweekar started learning sitar at an early age from his father Dr.sunil katti, a well known sitar and santoor player & a music composer.He continues to do so till date. His mother Dr.Vandana Katti is a well known vocalist of the Jaipur atrauli gharana. Sweekar belongs to the ‘Etawah gharana’ and hence follows the immensely appealing ‘Gayaki ang’ style of playing. Sweekar is a Commerce graduate.

As an upcoming artist of great promise he has bagged a number of prizes in inter collegiate and other competitions.some of them being:

He has also won the prestigious ‘Avides classical talent competition’ organized by Sangeet martand Pt.Jasraj held at Newyork (USA) in November 2010.
He has received scholarship from Ministry of culture Govt of India under the scheme under the scheme of scholarship to young artists for the year 2009-10.
Sweekar is a Sangeet Visharad of Gandharva mahavidyalaya.

Described as an environmental activist, conservationist, and community leader, Andrew Muir has dedicated his life to conservation and social development.

Andrew was mentored by conservation icon Dr Ian Player for 13 years, and took over his legacy in the management of the various organisations that Player had founded, including the world famous Wilderness Leadership School and Wilderness Foundation.

As director of the Wilderness Foundation, Andrew is involved in a number of projects dedicated to social and environmental sustainability including the South African-based Umzi Wethu programme which he founded in 2006. The programme targets vulnerable youth that show resilience and ambition, but despair of opportunities to support their households, and gives them the skills and training to become highly employable young adults.

The programme saw Andrew honoured as an International Rolex Awards Laureate in 2008 as well as the South African Conservationist of the Year in 2007.
